I am Sriparna Nandy, a writer, translator, and a singer from Kolkata, India. My poems, short stories, novels, and reviews have been published under my pen name, June Nandy. I write about the passage of time, memories, vulnerabilities and insecurities of bodies, forgotten nooks and corners, and the overlooked and unrecognized beings. I have been published in a wide range of literary journals in North America, South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and India. Many literary journals and quarterlies have featured me as a noteworthy poet. Following a thirteen-year career as a translator for Government of India, I voluntarily resigned from my job to focus on creative endeavours.
